About this role
The Data Specialist will support the design and documentation of data models, data field specifications, and standard operating procedures for the UN Staff Selection 2.0 system. The role involves studying existing data structures in the inspira Data Warehouse, reviewing the new recruitment process to identify data capture points, and ensuring alignment between the data warehouse and reporting requirements. The contractor will coordinate with OHR, OICT, and operational stakeholders to define data models covering skills taxonomies, job profiles, assessment items, candidate data, and workforce indicators. They will also review proposed changes to the recruitment platform, assess data implications, and contribute to SOP development for future data and analysis teams. The position requires a home-based, 3-month contract with a focus on data modeling, reporting frameworks, and system integration.
