About this role

UNICEF Guinea seeks an International Consultant to provide technical leadership and strategic support for the implementation of the PSEA Action Plan and inter-agency workplan. The role focuses on strengthening safeguarding systems, ensuring effective PSEA commitments across UNICEF programmes and the wider UN system in Guinea. Key responsibilities include coordination, capacity strengthening, partner engagement, risk mitigation, and monitoring. The consultant will work under the supervision of the UNICEF Representative, collaborating closely with the Child Protection Section and other programme/operations units. The ideal candidate is a specialist in PSEA prevention, risk mitigation, inter-agency coordination, capacity building, and survivor-centred response mechanisms. This is a 5-month, office-based assignment in Conakry, Guinea, aimed at enhancing protection frameworks and operationalizing PSEA strategies within the humanitarian and development context.
