About this role
UNICEF Senegal is recruiting an Education Officer (P-2) for a 6-month term to support interventions focused on improving girls’ education, vocational training, inclusive education, and the empowerment of vulnerable children and adolescents. The role emphasizes gender-transformative and disability-inclusive approaches. The incumbent will collaborate with government counterparts, WHO, ATscale, and other stakeholders on initiatives related to assistive technology and disability inclusion. Additionally, the officer will contribute to regional and global initiatives concerning girls’ education and gender equality, including the Gender at the Centre Initiative (GCI) and collaboration with the United Nations Girls’ Education Initiative (UNGEI). This position is designed for a junior professional to support the Education Section's strategic goals in Senegal.
