The incumbent assists in site layout, setting construction boundaries, and verifying project design alignments. The role also requires maintaining an updated digital database of all survey records, assisting with elevation of grounds and L profile sections for construction/repair works, and providing regular progress reports. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering with formal surveying training and a minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying and infrastructure projects. Proficiency in modern surveying equipment and software is required. Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory. Prior UN or international field experience is desirable. The assignment is for an initial period of 6 months in Abyei.
