This is a 3-month hybrid internship in the Social Media Section of the Department of Global Communications at the United Nations. The intern will support social media activities across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, and others. Key duties include researching and drafting content, monitoring social media analytics, gathering content from events, assisting in content creation, managing meeting agendas and notes, and supporting special projects. The role requires familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools like Canva, Trello, and Adobe Photoshop. The internship is unpaid and requires the intern to provide their own hardware and internet connection. Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (Master's or higher) or be in the final academic year of a bachelor's program. No professional work experience is required, but a related field of study is necessary.
