The incumbent monitors expenditures, manages extra-budgetary resources, and prepares budget performance reports. The role requires providing substantive support to intergovernmental bodies, advising staff on financial policies, and acting as Certifying Officer under Financial Rule 110.4. The officer also supports logistical arrangements for conferences and represents the Office in inter-departmental meetings. The ideal candidate possesses advanced knowledge of financial principles, budget development, and ERP systems, with strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. The position involves supervising unit work and requires fluency in English. It is a one-year renewable contract funded by extrabudgetary resources, reporting to the Senior Economic Affairs Officer.
