Intern - Programme Management

The United Nations Office of Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) in Budapest, Hungary, is offering six unpaid internships in the Countering Terrorist Travel Section. Interns will support programme management activities related to countering terrorist travel, including monitoring and evaluation, project document review, preparation of programme materials, meeting support, coordination with regional actors, research, data collection, situation monitoring, and database maintenance. The internship is flexible (hybrid or in-person) for 6 months, with full-time (35 hours/week) or part-time (20 hours/week) options. Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent) or the final academic year of a first university degree programme (bachelor's or equivalent). No professional work experience is required, but a related field of study is necessary. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of another official UN language is advantageous.
