Legal Operations Analyst

The Asian Development Bank is seeking a Legal Operations Analyst (Technical Local Staff Grade 3) to provide technical, analytical, and administrative support to the Office of the General Counsel (OGC). Based in Manila, the role involves managing legal operations, coordinating Board and Investment Committee meetings, and supervising legal operations assistants. Key responsibilities include preparing documentation for ADB policies, legal opinions, and confidential correspondence, as well as assisting in the preparation of policy papers and briefing notes. The analyst will track document flows, manage regional and country-specific operation files, and maintain databases for financing partnerships. The position also entails facilitating recruitment requirements, generating statistical reports on lawyer assignments, and leading process improvement efforts to streamline office systems. Additionally, the role supports the engagement of external counsels through RFP preparation and bid evaluation, and assists in drafting documents for loans, guarantees, and technical assistance projects. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, preferably with knowledge of ADB's project operations, and at least five years of relevant experience. Strong English communication skills, analytical ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage confidential information under tight timelines are essential. The appointment is fixed-term for three years, with potential extension or conversion to regular status.
