External Relations Services Internship

This internship offers a six-month opportunity within UNRWA's External Relations & Communications department in Amman, Jordan, with potential for partial remote work. The intern will support the External Relations Services team and Global Outreach Team in day-to-day operations, focusing heavily on data management, analysis, and presentation using Excel and PowerPoint. Key responsibilities include assisting with financial overviews, donor-related presentations, and donor analysis efforts such as consolidating funding data to aid strategic decision-making. The role involves close collaboration with the Contributions and Projects Units to support grant management processes, including tracking, reporting, and internal coordination. Interns will also help prepare and review financial and narrative donor reports, ensuring alignment with donor requirements. Additional duties involve maintaining the UNRWA Partnership Digest, updating donor factsheets, conducting basic research on donor priorities, and supporting proposal development. The ideal candidate is a current student or recent graduate in fields like Business Management, International Relations, or Development Studies, possessing strong analytical and communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory, while Arabic is desirable. This is an unpaid position where the intern bears all associated costs.
