## Why this site exists

Hundreds of UN agencies, programmes, funds, and partner IOs publish vacancies on
fragmented portals (UN Careers / Inspira, Workday, Oracle HCM, Recruitee, agency
microsites). UNlockit pulls them into one place with consistent metadata so candidates
can search by organisation, duty station, level, family, network, and domain.

## Data freshness

Every job's `lastmod` in the sitemap is its most recent re-scrape time. The corpus
re-ingests at least daily. AI extraction (must-haves, summary, embedding) backfills
asynchronously after each scrape.

## Citation

If you cite a specific role, prefer the original `url` field on `/jobs/<id>` — it
points at the agency's canonical posting and is the source of truth.
