This consultancy supports the National Planning Commission (NPC) and National Nutrition and Food Security Secretariat (NNFSS) in strengthening multi-sector coordination for the implementation of the Multi-Sector Nutrition Plan III (MSNP-III) 2023-2030. The consultant will enhance coordination mechanisms at federal, provincial, and local levels, support capacity building of MSNP-III governance structures, and facilitate implementation, monitoring, and reporting of EU budget support for achieving Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs). The role requires strong technical expertise in nutrition programming, multi-sectoral coordination, and experience working with government institutions and donor-funded initiatives. The position is office-based in Nepal with travel required.

The purpose of this consultancy is to provide coordination and technical support to the National Planning Commission (NPC) and the National Nutrition and Food Security Secretariat (NNFSS) in strengthening multi-sector coordination structures at the federal, provincial, and local levels and supporting the operationalization of EU budget support for the effective implementation of the Multi-Sector Nutrition Plan III (MSNP-III, 2023-2030). The assignment will focus on strengthening multi-sector coordination mechanisms, enhancing the capacity of MSNP-III governance structures across all three levels of government, and facilitating the implementation, monitoring, and reporting of EU budget support toward the achievement of Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) under the leadership of the NPC.
