Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the process of developing the CREWS Operational Plan.
  2. Support in coordinating the meetings of the Operational Coordination Group (OCG) Support in ensuring that portfolio data are compiled, organized and updated.
  3. Support in organizing events and activities of the Secretariat, i.e. drafting generic presentations and assisting in logistics.
  4. Perform other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

 

Education: 

At least Bachelor's degree in development studies, international relations, environment and similar.

 

Experience:

At least one year work experience in the UN, MDBs or other international organizations in programme or portfolio management, project development or implementation.

 

Other Requirements: 

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, knowledge of other UN official languages is an asset.

 

Languages: 

English fluency required other UN languages preferred.

 

Learning component of the internship:

Contribute to the Programming and Portfolio Management work of the Secretariat, opportunity to learn, expand knowledge and network.
