Energy Modeler and Technology Analyst

The successful candidate will be responsible for technology characterization and modelling of sub-sectors within the IEA Global Energy and Climate Model, contributing to quantitative analysis of energy technology and innovation issues. The position requires strong teamwork, liaison with national delegations and international organizations, and the drafting of reports and briefing notes for senior management. The candidate will report to the head of the Technology Innovation Unit, the Hydrogen and Alternative Fuels Unit, or the Technology Supply Chains Unit. The role aims to build a talent pool of energy analysts with experience in energy modelling and quantitative analysis to address regional and sectoral energy technology trends. The appointment is a two-year fixed-term contract, graded PAL 5, with a starting salary of 6,975 EUR plus allowances.
