Consultant, Africa Programming

The Consultant, Africa Programming will facilitate the development and delivery of the Global Compact’s programming portfolio within the Africa Hub team in Abuja. The role involves coordinating regional and cross-country programmes, including events, accelerators, and content regionalization, to support private sector alignment with the Ten Principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. The consultant acts as a key interlocutor with Headquarters and Country Networks to contextualize value propositions for businesses, leveraging platforms like the Africa Business Leaders Coalition. Responsibilities include leading programmatic partnerships, providing programme delivery expertise, facilitating cross-country learning, and monitoring implementation. The ideal candidate possesses a Master’s degree and at least seven years of experience in project management, business development, and organizational capacity development, with direct private sector experience. Fluency in English is required, with French desirable. The contract is for 12 months with possible extension.
