This 13-month consultancy with UNICEF seeks a Country Team Coordinator to support the implementation of the joint IOM-UNICEF Global Programme on the Central Mediterranean Route in Libya. Based in Tripoli with remote work options and travel, the role focuses on providing coordination, technical, and facilitative support to the Country Team. Key responsibilities include managing coordination mechanisms, engaging stakeholders, and overseeing knowledge management and reporting processes. The coordinator will organize regional and national consultations, conduct desk reviews, and analyze practices, gaps, and needs. The role also involves drafting and disseminating programme documents, joint reports, and supporting the development of costed national action plans and donor reporting requirements. The position is open exclusively to national consultants, requiring strong technical expertise in programme coordination and analysis within the context of humanitarian or development operations in Libya.

The purpose of this consultancy is to provide coordination, technical, and facilitative support to the Country Team in the implementation of activities under the joint IOM-UNICEF Global Programme. The consultant will support coordination mechanisms, stakeholder engagement, knowledge management, reporting processes, and the organization of regional and national consultations and convenings. The role will also contribute to technical programme outputs, including desk reviews, mapping and analysis of practices, gaps, and needs, drafting and dissemination of programme documents and joint reports, and support to the development of costed national action plans and donor reporting requirements.
