UNICEF Syria is seeking a qualified consultant for a three-month assignment based in Damascus to support the Country Office and the Ministry of Health in strengthening evidence-based programming for child malnutrition. The role focuses on analyzing nutrition trends and translating complex data into actionable insights. Key responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive comparative analysis of nutrition indicators from the SMART 2023 and SMART 2025 surveys. The consultant must present findings through innovative, visually compelling formats, such as infographics tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, the role requires developing strategic, evidence-based recommendations to support national efforts to reverse the rising trend of wasting in Syria. The position is open to international candidates only and requires home-based work within the Syrian Arab Republic.
