The Social Policy Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist (P-3) is a Technical Assistance role based in Dakar, Senegal, designed to support UNICEF's efforts in strengthening public finance for children and evidence-based policymaking. The position addresses growing fiscal constraints and widespread child poverty by advancing work in social protection, planning, and monitoring. The specialist will play a key role in improving outcomes for vulnerable children affected by deprivations in health, education, nutrition, and social protection, as well as climate-related shocks. The role focuses on enhancing the organization's capacity to deliver effective social policies and programs through rigorous monitoring and evaluation frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in social policy analysis and M&E, with the ability to navigate complex fiscal environments and contribute to strategic planning for child welfare initiatives in a challenging operational context.

Three (3) years of relevant professional experience in social policy, monitoring and evaluation, or related fields.

Advanced university degree in social sciences, economics, public policy, or a related field.
