The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is seeking a Safeguards Information Analyst (Open Source) at the P4 level to join the SGIM-State Factor Analysis Section at its Headquarters in Vienna, Austria. This fixed-term, regular contract role focuses on leveraging open-source intelligence to support nuclear safeguards activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing publicly available information to assess state compliance with nuclear non-proliferation obligations. The role requires strong analytical skills to synthesize complex data from diverse open-source channels, including digital media, academic publications, and government reports. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in intelligence analysis, international relations, or security studies, with a demonstrated ability to produce high-quality analytical products for senior decision-makers.
