UNICEF is seeking a Chief of People and Culture (P-5) to lead its people agenda in East Jerusalem, State of Palestine. This strategic leadership role involves shaping workforce transformation, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and cultivating an inclusive, high-performing culture within a complex operating environment. As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the incumbent will lead a team of HR professionals and drive innovative people strategies that enable UNICEF to deliver on its mission for children. Key responsibilities include championing talent management, organizational development, change leadership, workforce planning, learning and development, HR analytics, and strategic business partnering. The role also contributes to UNICEF’s global HR transformation efforts. The ideal candidate is an exceptional leader capable of navigating complex humanitarian contexts while fostering a high-performing culture and driving strategic HR initiatives.
