The UNDP is recruiting a Project Assistant Intern in Zinder, Niger, to support the implementation of its flagship Youth and Youth Empowerment program. Under the supervision of unit managers, the intern will provide administrative, technical, and operational support to ensure effective project execution, coordination, and monitoring. Key responsibilities include assisting with unit activities, providing logistical support for missions and meetings, drafting technical documents and terms of reference, and establishing dynamic data collection systems to track project results. The role also involves monitoring and evaluating program activities, compiling progress reports, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and fostering partnerships with UN agencies and national partners. Additionally, the intern will contribute to knowledge management by capturing best practices, developing learning tools, and supporting unit visibility. Candidates are expected to demonstrate core competencies at Level 1, including planning, innovation, adaptability, and partnership building, alongside technical skills in project management, monitoring and evaluation, and systemic thinking.
