Prior UN or international field experience is advantageous. Fluency in spoken and written English is required, while French is a working language of the UN Secretariat. Duties and Responsibilities

The role includes managing, coordinating, training labor teams, coordinating equipment use, guiding operators and maintaining site documentation. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and guide teams at site the construction and maintenance of roads, drainage systems, helipads, and protective infrastructure.
- Train skilled and unskilled laborers, equipment operators to execute works.
- Monitor work progress, report delays or risks, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain daily site logs covering materials, workforce attendance, and equipment use.
- Assist with delivery inspections, inventory control, and site layout in collaboration with surveyors and engineers.
- Identify and resolve technical or operational issues on site.
- Prepare progress reports and assist in project close-out activities.
- Enforce environmental protection and occupational safety practices.
- Perform such other tasks as assigned by Chief Engineer
