Duties and Responsibilities

Bajo la supervisión de la Asistente Ejecutiva, la persona pasante apoyará las iniciativas llevadas a cabo por el Comité Greening the Blue, como son: • Apoyar en la elaboración de un diagnóstico ambiental institucional preliminar. • Contribuir al diseño de una estrategia de mejora de la sostenibilidad ambiental del UN House Costa Rica, alineada con los principios de Greening the Blue y compromisos del Sistema de Naciones Unidas. • Trabajar de forma coordinada con el Comité Greening the Blue de UN House Costa Rica. • Presentar avances, propuestas y recomendaciones al Comité para su retroalimentación. • Apoyar en la elaboración de un documento escrito final que consolide el diagnóstico, la estrategia propuesta y sus recomendaciones. • Apoyar, de ser requerido, en presentaciones o insumos ejecutivos para la toma de decisiones. • Desempeñar otras funciones técnicas relacionadas con análisis económico y gestión de datos que sean asignadas en el marco de las prioridades estratégicas de la Oficina.

Qualifications/special skills

Bachillerato universitario en Salud Ambiental (o carreras afines) - requerido Deseable Estudiante de licenciatura en Salud Ambiental (o carreras afines). Las personas postulantes al Programa de Pasantías de las Naciones Unidas no están obligadas a contar con experiencia laboral profesional. Sin embargo, se requiere contar con un campo de estudio estrechamente relacionado con el tipo de pasantía a la que se postula. Las personas postulantes deben encontrarse en el último año de una primera carrera universitaria (bachillerato o equivalente), o estar cursando un programa de maestría o doctorado (Ph.D.) o equivalente, o haber completado un bachillerato, maestría o doctorado. ¿Cumple usted con alguno de los criterios mencionados anteriormente? En caso afirmativo, indique cuál y adjunte la documentación correspondiente en su solicitud. Experiencia laboral en temas de salud ambiental.

El inglés y el francés son los idiomas de trabajo de la Secretaría de las Naciones Unidas. Se requiere dominio fluido, tanto oral como escrito, del Español para la pasantía.
