The Public Information and Communications Intern will support the Independent Investigative Mechanism for Myanmar's Public Information Office in Geneva. Key responsibilities include developing social media content, producing visual materials like videos and infographics, writing for website and newsletters, facilitating translation processes, taking meeting notes, and monitoring news. The role requires close collaboration with the Associate and Public Information Officers. The internship offers a full-time commitment (40 hours/week) for 3-6 months starting September 2026, with no financial remuneration provided by the UN. Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (Master's or Ph.D.) or be in the final year of a bachelor's degree program. Field of study should be related to public information, communications, or journalism. Experience in news writing, social media content creation, design software, and video editing is desirable but not required.
