Lead the commercial transporter onboarding, technical integration coordination, and GPS, compliance follow-up for Fleet Finder, ensuring timely GPS data availability, data quality,
and contract compliance actions where transporters fail to provide functioning tracking.

Background:

WFP Sudan is implementing Fleet Finder, an integrated truck-tracking solution that

consolidates Commercial Transporters' GPS feeds and WFP fleet tracking into a single

operational platform. Fleet Finder links multiple GPS systems using APIs and other technical linking methods to enable end-to-end visibility, compliance monitoring, and incident follow-up across the transport network

Purpose of Assignment

Lead the commercial transporter onboarding, technical integration coordination, and GPS

compliance follow-up for Fleet Finder, ensuring timely GPS data availability, data quality,

and contract compliance actions where transporters fail to provide functioning tracking.

Key Accountabilities (not all-inclusive):

Under the direct supervision of the Head of Fleet, the Logistics

Associate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Coordinate with commercial transporters to collect and validate technical integration requirements (API specs, authentication, formats, frequency, and alternative linking methods).
  • Maintain a complete Transporter Integration Dossier per transporter (technical details, focal points, and status).
  • Facilitate and document technical alignment sessions between transporters and Global Fleet/Fleet Finder focal people and track actions to closure.
  • Collect, consolidate, and validate transporter truck master lists (plate, chassis/VIN, device ID/IMEI where available) for onboarding and mapping.
  • Verify GPS functionality and data quality at first level (active reporting, timeliness, plausibility) and flag gaps for corrective action.
  • Reconcile transporter truck lists with WFP operational transport records (where applicable) and escalate discrepancies for resolution.
  • Liaise with Contracting/Procurement/Legal to enforce GPS/Fleet Finder obligations and align compliance steps with contract provisions.
  • Prepare evidence packs for non-compliance (missing/non-functioning GPS, no feed, persistent gaps) and support contractual remedies per contract terms.
  • Act as Sudan CO focal point with Global Fleet on API reception, integration timelines, technical updates, and escalations.
  • Maintain an Integration Tracker capturing status, blockers, owners, dependencies and due dates for all transporter integrations.
  • Provide weekly progress and risk updates to Sudan fleet management and highlight issues requiring guidance or decisions.
  • Produce monthly summaries/dashboards on onboarding coverage, integration health, and recurring issues and propose corrective actions.
  •  Support development and rollout of simple SOPs and guidance for sub-offices Fleet Finder processes and escalation pathways.

  • STANDARD MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS :

Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in degree in supply chain, Logistics, IT/Information, Systems, Engineering, or related field is desirable

Experience: At least 6 years in transport/logistics operations, fleet Management, tracking/telematics, data management, or systems coordination.

Technica Knowledge: Working understanding of APIs, data formats (CSV/JSON/XML), , authentication concepts, and troubleshooting data feeds (hands-on coding not required).

Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic.
