About this role

UNICEF Mozambique is recruiting a Social & Behavior Change Officer (NO-B) for a temporary 11-month position at the Nampula Zone Office. The role focuses on designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating evidence-based Social and Behavior Change (SBC) strategies to improve outcomes for children and communities. The incumbent will generate and apply behavioral research, strengthen community engagement, and coordinate with government and development partners. Key responsibilities include mobilizing resources, building the capacity of staff and counterparts, and promoting sustainable social change across both development and humanitarian contexts. The officer reports to the Chief of Field Office and works closely with the national SBC team.
