The New Development Bank (NDB) is seeking young talents from its member countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) to join its Internship Programme in Shanghai, China. NDB is inviting applications for the position of Intern, in various Departments and Divisions.
Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:
The intern will support various functions across the Department or Division and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administrative Support: Assist with routine tasks such as data entry, scheduling meetings, organizing documents, and responding to emails.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research on relevant topics, gather and analyze data, and contribute to reports or presentations that support decision-making processes.
- Project Assistance: Support ongoing projects by participating in meetings, contributing ideas during brainstorming sessions, and completing assigned tasks that align with project objectives.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and update records, assist in preparing reports, and help document project progress and outcomes.
- Learning and Development: Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and webinars to build professional skills and industry knowledge. Seek and apply feedback to enhance performance.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively and work closely with colleagues, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to ensure coordination and teamwork.
- Presentation Support: Contribute to the development and design of presentations for internal meetings or external stakeholders.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Take on special assignments or assist with events, scheduling coordination, and other miscellaneous tasks as required.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the team and organization.

Eligibility Criteria (at the beginning of internship contract): :
• National of a member country of the NDB
• 30 years of age or younger
• Fluency in English
• No more than 1 year of full-time work experience in total
• Completed postgraduate/master’s studies within the last 12 months, or currently enrolled in full-time postgraduate/master’s studies in the relevant field
• Be available to work full-time during the internship programme.
