The United Nations Office for Data Protection and Privacy (ODPP) is seeking a motivated intern to support its work in data protection and privacy within an international organization. The internship is part-time (less than 34 hours per week) and remote, with a duration of 3-6 months. Interns will assist with research on data protection laws, review documents, draft official materials, attend meetings, and support conferences and presentations. The role offers practical experience in a multicultural intergovernmental setting under the supervision of a Data Protection and Privacy Officer. Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (Master's or Ph.D.) or be in the final academic year of a bachelor's degree program. The position requires fluency in English and knowledge of additional UN languages is advantageous. No professional work experience is required, but a related field of study is necessary.
