Job Specific Context
The AI Centre of Excellence is being established with the ambition of rolling out a robust AI infrastructure and innovative AI-based solutions, ensuring scalability for future growth and technological advancements. This position operates within a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment focused on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance UNOPS operational efficiency and impact. The role is critical for coordinating the delivery and rollout of AI solutions, managing stakeholder communications, and ensuring the successful adoption of AI technologies across the organization.
Role Purpose
Under the supervision of the AI Center of Excellence (CoE) Lead, the Coordinator will lead the delivery and rollout of AI solutions, manage stakeholder communications and engagement, and coordinate operational activities across the AI Practice. This role will drive AI adoption across UNOPS, ensuring deployed solutions deliver measurable efficiency gains and enhance the quality of outputs.

Required
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields with 7 years of relevant experience OR
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in any of the above or related fields with 5 years of relevant experience is required
Experience Requirements

Experience in project coordination, technology rollout, or programme support within complex, multi-stakeholder environments (Minimum 5 years with a Master's, 7 years with a Bachelor's)
Minimum 2 years of experience in change management, technology adoption, or user enablement
Demonstrated experience working with AI models, tools, or platforms, with demonstrated knowledge of the current AI landscape and emerging trends.
Experience coordinating across distributed teams or offices, including preparing briefing materials, progress reports, and stakeholder communications.
Experience supporting the adoption or implementation of technology solutions, digital tools, or data-driven initiatives.
Experience delivering training, workshops, or capacity-building activities for non-technical audiences.
