This internship is in the Enterprise Solutions Service, Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT/ESS), hosted by UNICTF and located in Valencia, Spain. The internship is UNPAID and full-time. Interns work five days per week (35 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in OICT/ESS. Responsibilities: Daily responsibilities will vary and depend on the individual's background, including but not limited to: • Writing Java, React, Python code • Deploying and testing application • Code commit to git • Participating in the weekly spring meetings • Preparing documentation • Preparing demo and demonstrate the application to an audience Competencies Communication: Speaks and writes clearly and effectively. Applicants to the programme must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements: (a) Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or, (b) Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent). No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme. Your training, education, advance course work or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship. English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in English is required for the internship. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish) is an advantage.
