The UNDP Maldives is seeking a part-time Project Engineer (50%) to provide technical oversight, quality assurance, and contract management support for climate-resilient infrastructure projects under the Resilience and Climate Change (RCC) Unit. The role involves monitoring construction and infrastructure works, reviewing technical designs and specifications, supporting procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with UNDP policies, national standards, and climate-resilient design principles. The Engineer will collaborate with project management units, procurement teams, operations staff, and contracted construction firms. Key responsibilities include technical advisory support, site visits, contract management, risk identification, and coordination with stakeholders. The position requires a master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or a bachelor's degree with two years of relevant professional experience in civil works, construction supervision, or infrastructure project implementation.
