The Senior Livelihood and Economic Inclusion Associate supports the operationalization of UNHCR's strategic vision to align livelihoods and economic inclusion efforts with the Global Compact on Refugees. The role involves collaborating with government agencies, private sector partners, and other stakeholders to enhance economic inclusion and self-reliance for refugees and host communities. Key responsibilities include exploring partnerships, providing technical assistance on market-based livelihood interventions, coordinating with cross-cutting sectors to integrate protection safeguards, and utilizing databases for information sharing. The incumbent will also evaluate project documents, manage risks, and mobilize diverse refugee groups. The position requires supervising support staff and maintaining partnerships to improve access to livelihood opportunities. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in strengthening agricultural resilience, developing monitoring and evaluation systems for agricultural and entrepreneurship projects, and upgrading cooperatives.
