L’UNICEF Algérie opère dans un contexte de programmation duale, englobant à la fois des interventions de développement et des interventions humanitaires :Au niveau national, l’UNICEF appuie le Gouvernement algérien à travers des programmes axés sur le développement visant à renforcer les systèmes, les politiques et les services en faveur des enfants, notamment dans les domaines de la santé, de l’éducation, de la protection de l’enfance, des politiques sociales et du développement des adolescents.Parallèlement, l’UNICEF dirige et soutient une réponse humanitaire prolongée à Tindouf, en fournissant une assistance vitale ainsi que des interventions de renforcement de la résilience en faveur des enfants et des familles réfugiés sahraouis, en étroite coordination avec les agences des Nations Unies, les partenaires nationaux et les acteurs humanitaires.
