This six-month on-site consultancy supports UN Women Bolivia’s strategy on women’s economic empowerment through targeted private sector engagement. The consultant will design and implement initiatives aligned with the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs) and HeForShe, coordinate the WEPs Community and Financial Inclusion Alliance, and develop strategic partnerships for resource mobilization. Key responsibilities include drafting policy documents and proposals, planning multi-actor workshops and dialogues, monitoring corporate commitments, and producing technical reports on gender gaps and financial inclusion. The consultant will deliver four key products over the contract period, including a validated private sector action plan, a technical report on gender gaps and financial inclusion, a capacity-building implementation report, and stakeholder management updates. The role demands strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder engagement, and independent project execution. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Social Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or a Bachelor’s degree plus two years of relevant experience. A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in gender-focused business ecosystems or sustainable finance is mandatory. Fluency in Spanish is required, with English considered advantageous. The position is based in La Paz, Bolivia, with limited local travel for stakeholder meetings and deliverable validation.
